Edie Deloach, M.A.

Welcome!

First steps….

Here’s what you can expect in the counseling process...

To be seen.

To be heard.

To be empowered.

Together, we’ll identify your current concerns and begin imagining the future you want to build.

We’ll create a personalized plan and revisit it regularly to ensure it aligns with your evolving

goals.

Therapy is a collaborative process—you are the expert on your life, and I bring the tools,

experience, and insight to help guide the journey. Curiosity becomes a powerful tool in this work,

opening the door to new perspectives, reduced shame and judgment, and the possibility of

living in a freer, more authentic way.

Curious About The Therapeutic Process?

Whats next?

During our first session, we’ll explore your hopes and expectations for therapy, as well as what’s currently keeping you stuck. My goal is that you leave that initial session with a sense of hope that change is not only possible—it’s within reach.

We’ll begin by identifying your values and goals. Through a trusting, safe therapeutic relationship, we’ll explore your past, present, and future to help you live more fully in the present moment.

As we progress, you can expect to:

● Deepen your understanding of yourself

● Recognize and transform limiting patterns

● Move toward wholeness and freedom

Journey through therapy….

Healing takes time—but brain science confirms what many of us know intuitively: change is possible. Therapy can help us live more peaceful, purposeful, and connected lives.

How Do I do Therapy?

My approach in therapy is trauma-informed. I have experience and specialized training using brainspotting, polyvagal theory, CBT, DBT, as well as codependency and boundary work. My approach is person-centered and using evidence based techniques to align with your unique goals and values.

You May be Wondering if Counseling is the Right fit for you Right Now.

Are you tired of feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Do you long to grow in your understanding of yourself and your relationships?

If so, I’m here to walk alongside you and create a safe, compassionate space for healing and growth. Your life makes sense in the context of your story, and I look forward to walking with you through it.

What Drew Me to the Counseling Profession?

I began my journey in the mental health field decades ago, then took time away to be a homeschooling mom while supporting a military family. Returning to therapy as a second career has felt like a gift—one that I view as both a calling and a privilege.

My Background Experience:

Formal Education: Masters of Clinical Psychology degree from St. Mary’s University in Texas

  • Specialized trainings:

    • Brainspotting level I and level II trained

    • -I have experience in community mental health and as an intensive in-home therapist.

When I am not in session, I enjoy drinking unsweet tea, hiking, lifelong learning, and serving in my church’s singles ministry. Most of all, I love spending time with my new grandbaby and close friends.
